In most businesses, the data needed for decisions is already sitting inside the systems; the problem is getting to it. Report requests land on the IT department, join a queue, and by the time they arrive they are often too late. ErpwareBI breaks this cycle: the person who needs the report builds it themselves.

In the visual query builder you choose tables and columns; ErpwareBI generates safe, parameterised SQL in the background. You don’t need to know SQL, but for those who do, the full query remains visible and editable.

From report to dashboard

You visualise your reports with 13 different chart types and bring them together in drag-and-drop dashboards. Master-detail tables let you move between summary and detail, and calculated fields (such as profit margin or growth rate) let you define your own metrics — formulas are converted to safe SQL, and injection attempts are moved into parameters and never executed.

Outputs can be downloaded as Excel, PDF or PowerPoint with one click and presented directly to your board or your customers.

Everyone sees only the data they are authorised for

In corporate reporting, the real issue is not opening up access but opening it up to the right degree. Alongside role- and permission-based authorisation, ErpwareBI offers row-level security (RLS): two regional managers opening the same report see only the rows for their own region. Every query runs read-only inside a transaction that is rolled back; who viewed what, and when, is written to the audit log.

Works with your existing database

You can connect to MSSQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle per report; connection details are stored encrypted. If all you have is an Excel file, you can upload it and use it like a database table.

You can set up threshold alerts and scheduled report subscriptions for your critical metrics — they land in your inbox without you having to ask.

Together with AI

ErpwareBI works together with Kai: instead of building a report, you can ask in plain language, and request commentary and period comparisons from the AI analyst. Because the AI runs inside your organisation, your data never leaves it.
